Reiki is a healing modality that is passed down from teacher to student through verbal and energetic lineage. There are 3 steps to learning how to facilitate the flow of Reiki energy.
I often recommend Reiki treatments as a follow up to my spiritual counseling sessions.
The number one question I am then asked is “What is a Reiki treatment?”
A typical Reiki treatment is done on a treatment table where the client relaxes on the table and the practitioner runs healing energy (Reiki) through them to the client.
The process is like an auric, spiritual, emotional, mental and physical healing. The Reiki energy is very gentle only going to where it is needed. I may add crystals to the healing sessions, aromatherapy, a guided visual meditation, drumming and more…
Often crossed over loved ones or spirit guides come through in the healing process.
Here are some of the possible results of a Reiki session:
Less stress
Pain alleviated
A closer spiritual connection to source
An alignment of the chakras
Release of emotional trauma
Healing of wounds, disease, and discomfort
Better nighttime sleep
Less anxiety
Increased intuition
The ability to solve problems more easily
Mental clarity
and more…
There aren’t any negative side effects of Reiki.
In Reiki 1 ~ you learn about channeling the Universal Healing Energy. Also, you learn the traditional positions for self and others. Reiki 1 is really about you healing you.
Reiki 2 ~ brings in distance healing and learning the traditional 3 Reiki symbols of healing and power
Reiki 3 ~ this is where you learn how to teach and pass on the Reiki teachings.
One does not become a Reiki Master until they have attuned (passed on an energetic initiation) at least one student.
