A Witch's Ally Oracle By Dodie Graham McKay

The black cat on the windowsill, the raven on the fence, the spider spinning in the corner.
Your allies have been with you all along.
A 48-card oracle of animal familiars and the magic they carry. 🖤

A Witch's Ally Oracle by Witch and author Dodie Graham McKay, with artwork by artist and witch Laura Tempest Zakroff, is a 48-card deck with a companion guidebook. Each card honors an animal ally, pairing Zakroff's flowing, distinctive artwork with a sigil created especially for this deck. You'll meet the classic familiars, cats and ravens among them, alongside less expected allies like spiders and snakes, each with its own story to tell. The guidebook goes deep for every animal, covering its elemental associations, natural history, folklore, and magical correspondences, and it offers three separate messages so each card can speak to your question in different ways. The result is a deck that's as useful for study and spellwork as it is for divination. On your altar, it becomes a gathering of wild companions ready to share their wisdom.

How to Use It: Light a candle and take a few quiet breaths, calling to mind any animal that has crossed your path lately. Shuffle and ask, "Which ally is walking with me now?" Draw one card and spend a moment with the animal and its sigil before opening the guidebook. Read its folklore and associations, then choose the message that speaks most clearly to your question. You can trace the sigil on a candle or in your journal to carry that ally's energy with you through the day. 🖤

Every creature carries a message for those who know how to listen.
