Angelica, the herb, is often associated with: Archangel Michael and Archangel Gabriel, Venus, the Sun, and the element of fire.
It is commonly used for protection, breaking hexes, good luck, and as a general blessing. Angelica has been associated with the protection of women. When burned as an incense, it is said to cause psychic visions.
It may be burned, sprinkled in the four corners of a room or home, added to a bath, or in some cases, carried around in a pocket or bag for good luck.
