    • Description

The veil is thinning, and you can feel the ones who came before you.
You're ready to honor them and clear the way.

These cones carry the sacred resin of the Maya and Aztec temples. 🕯️🌿

Copal Hem Cone Incense is handmade in India by HEM, with a clean, bright, slightly citrusy and piney resin scent. Copal is the resin of trees native to Mexico and Central America, and its name comes from the Nahuatl word copalli, meaning incense. The Maya and Aztecs offered copal to their gods, and it is still burned on Día de los Muertos ofrendas to honor the dead. Copal is associated with the Sun and the element of Fire and is traditionally used for purification, offerings, ancestor work, and clearing crystals. As the smoke rises, the space feels clean, bright, and open to spirit.

      Why You'll Love It:

✔ 10 cones plus a small metal burner plate
✔ Clean, bright, citrusy resin scent
✔ About 15–20 minutes per cone
✔ Made in India by HEM
✔ Associated with offerings, ancestor work, and purification
✔ Pairs with a Clear Quartz Tumbled Crystal and Spirit Guide Oil by Sun's Eye

      Perfect For:

✔ Día de los Muertos ofrendas and ancestor altars
      ✔ Samhain and veil-season ritual
✔ Clearing crystals and ritual tools
✔ Space clearing before spirit work
      ✔ Offerings and devotion

      How to Use It:

Set the small metal burner plate on a ceramic dish near your ancestor altar or photos, place a cone on it, and light the tip. Blow out the flame once it glows. Pass your clear quartz through the smoke to clear it, then touch it with a drop of Spirit Guide Oil. Say the names of the ones you're honoring aloud, and tell them one thing you want them to know. Let the cone burn as an offering while you sit nearby. Never leave burning incense unattended. 🕯️🌙

Smoke for the ancestors, and a light to guide them home.

      Frequently Asked Questions

How long does each cone burn?
      About 15–20 minutes.

How do I burn the cones safely?
Each box comes with a thin, coin-sized metal burner plate. It gets hot and won't catch ash, so always set it on a ceramic dish, stone coaster, or larger burner before lighting your cone.

What is copal traditionally used for?
It's a sacred Mesoamerican resin traditionally burned as an offering, for ancestor work and Día de los Muertos, and to clear a space or crystals.

      Care / Please Note:

For spiritual and ritual use only. Burn on a heat-safe surface (or in a heat-safe incense holder) in a well-ventilated area, away from anything flammable. Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from children and pets. Not for consumption.
