Dragon Tarot Cards by Terry Donaldson

Ancient, wise, and fiercely powerful, dragons have guarded humanity's greatest treasures and secrets.
Now they guard yours.
A 78-card tarot deck where dragons from the world's great myths carry the wisdom of the cards. 🖤

The Dragon Tarot by tarot author Terry Donaldson, with artwork by fantasy artist Peter Pracownik and published by U.S. Games Systems, is a 78-card deck with a companion booklet. It gathers dragon imagery from across the ancient world, from Babylon, Egypt, and China to the legends of King Arthur, St. George, and Siegfried, and weaves it into the traditional structure and symbolism of tarot. Pracownik's richly detailed artwork brings each dragon to life with color, power, and mythic presence, so every card feels like a doorway into legend. Because the deck follows classic tarot meanings, it's easy to read for anyone familiar with traditional decks, while the dragon imagery adds a layer of strength, courage, and ancient wisdom. On your altar, this deck becomes a lair of mythic guardians, each one ready to share its fire.

How to Use It: Light a red or gold candle to honor the dragon's fire, and take a few deep breaths, feeling your own strength rise. Shuffle and ask, "What courage do I need right now?" Draw three cards for the treasure you're guarding, the challenge in front of you, and the strength you can call on. Notice which dragon appears in each card and what mythology it comes from, then read the booklet's meaning. Thank your dragon guardians before you close. 🖤

Call on the dragon within, and let your fire burn bright.
