Description
Dreamlike, strange, and utterly unforgettable.
Some decks whisper; this one casts a spell.
A classic 78-card surrealist tarot deck with a cinematic history. 🖤The Tarot of the Witches by artist Fergus Hall, published by U.S. Games Systems, is a 78-card deck with an instruction booklet, and one of the most recognizable decks in tarot history. Hall originally painted its haunting Major Arcana for the 1973 James Bond film Live and Let Die, where it belonged to the mysterious card reader Solitaire. Drawing on the surrealist art movement, the deck depicts dreamlike fantasies in bold, vibrant colors and solid, almost sculptural figures that feel both whimsical and uncanny. It honors the old kinship between witchcraft and the secrets of the arcana, with the Major Arcana carrying the deck's most striking imagery and the Minor Arcana rendered in a simpler, symbolic style. Decades later, it remains a favorite with collectors and readers who love vintage occult art. On your altar, this deck brings a touch of mid-century mystery and cinematic magic.
